theChemist Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Does it only activate if the disconnection was not caused by the user? Or should it activate no matter what? It did fail one time for me but I'm not sure if I hit some button combination that disconnected the AP. I tested it afterwards by forcing an AP disconnect and it doesn't stop the sim. That's Steam version with SU1 beta.
richboy2307 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Hi @theChemist It works by pausing your sim anytime the AP is disconnected whilst Time Compression (2x or more) is active. It doesn't work without Time Compression set to AUTO and shown as active in green at the top of the OIS. theChemist Posted February 27 Author Posted February 27 Thanks for your answer, but I guess then it's unclear to me how to activate Time compression other than using AUTO. There is only AUTO or OFF. Or should I just change Sim rate the usual way not controlled by the plane?

Yes but that's not my question. My question is about AFK mode that should pause the Sim when the AP disconnects (which happens to me during time compression and I crashed). And apparently that doesn't work when time compression is set to Auto.
ttutko Posted February 27 Posted February 27 The iniBuilds employee above literally said it ONLY works when time compression is set to Auto...

Ah thanks, the double negative slipped past me...but well then it's bugged and doesn't work as intended because it doesn't pause it. You can try it, pump your stick so the AP disconnects and the sim won't be paused.
