Maybe gsx conflict? Do you have old gsx profiles installed?

As far as i know i only installed the one from the ini manager. Where would the folder be located and i can take a look?

You probably have the default OMDB handcrafted scenery provided within MSFS 2024 still enabled.

Go to Marketplace > My Library and type OMDB in the search box. All OMDB sceneries installed/streamed will be displayed. Disable all sceneries (streamed) other than the inibuilds OMDB (installed). A sim restart will be required. You should be good then.
