reinluka Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Hello all I have hat a for me big issue with the inibuilds a320neov2 in the msfs2024. I first made a simbrief flightplan and set everything in the aircraft according to multiple overlappong youtube viedeos and after take off i noticed that the autopilot followed a streicht line wich also appeared on the Radar so im wondering if that is a known issue and if there are ways to fix it. Thank you in advance
Weeksy1990 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) Hey, not a known issue as far as I am aware. It follows the simbrief fine for me and I landed my last flight within the past half an hour. What steps did you take to get the simbrief plan into the FMGC? A photo of your cockpit set up showing PFD and AP settings would also help and I’ll try to assist. The fact it is showing a straight line would suggest it hasn’t intercepted the flight plan to be able to enter nav mode. Likely an easy fix but I need to work out where you’ve gone wrong to tell you what to fix 😊 Edited January 4 by Weeksy1990

Yes please verify your Flight Directors (FD) are running. On the ground prior to takeoff ensure your FCU is showing as in the image as well, with NAV mode armed in blue on the Flight Mode Annunciator (FMA) at the top of the Primary Flight Display (PFD) meaning that it will follow the MCDU F-PLN once airborne. "Armed" modes are always shown in blue color, whereas currectly "Active" modes are shown in green on the FMA. Also ensure the assists shown here are disabled, as they can also cause conflicts with Autopilot: Thanks! reinluka Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Thank you i didnt have the armed nav sign because i made a mistake while setting up the flight plan
reinluka Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Well after take off it flew the departure route but the the autopilot turned off i guess that that is coming from the messing off the climb armed on the FMA right? But i dont know why the climb is not armed has anyone an idea for that?
BoeingSpeedbird Posted January 7 Posted January 7 When the FMA commands Thrust Climb are you moving the throttles into Climb detent?
reinluka Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 No, i didnt have them there thank you for your help
