Engines not starting after turnaround

Featured Replies

I've encountered this issue multiple times now that when flying to a destination and then preparing everything for your return flight, the engines won´t start. N2 won't go over 29.6% even though the aircraft is configured properly.

I’ve experienced this. They do eventually start (at least this was my experience), but take far longer than normal cold and dark start time.

I waited for about 10 minutes and tried multiple starts. Unfortunately nothing happened.

Engine manual start buttons?

actually did not try this, as this should not be necessary on a normal basis but I will try it next time, thanks.

Hello, I have the same problem but what I do is i press CTRL+E to automatically start both engines. But be aware that pressing CTRL+E empties your plane, so you have to apply load instant, resets the weights (ZFW/ZFWCG and BLOCK), turns on all the lights. So if you're choosing to go for CTRL+E you have to reconfigure the aircraft a bit. I would love for this problem to be solved...

Hello,

Apologies for the late reply. Can any of you please grab me a video when you are attempting engine start on turn-around? May help to see exactly what leads up to it.

Thank you and apologies for the inconvenience 🙂

Hello i am getting the same issue in FS 24

My process is exactly the same as starting engines for first time. i checked everything
It doesnt go past 29.6 N2%. it just spool up to there and just stay there, while the EGT decreases. At first it was both engines  then i tried toggle on and off the ignition and engine master switch and only engine 2 started but not 1
