Screens are all blank upon startup

When I tried to fly the A310 a couple of days ago, I attempted to create a flight starting on the runway ready for take off, but all displays were blank, and the nobs and switches would not work.  I used the aircraft several weeks before without any problems.

I went into the General Options and turned off the USE NSVONG FOR XML GAUGES option and this did not solve the issue.

Any suggestions?
