2024 Spawns @ SKRG Maria Cordova every flights

Featured Replies

Hi, So i have purchased from inibuilds and installed the 2024 version correctly.

It seems that 90% of the time that I choose an airport to takeoff from, once you select ready to fly i am always then spawned on the runway @ SKRG instead of my chosen airport??

Sometimes I manage to select my local airport EGCN or Gatwick EGKK

I have the same problem. The 2020 version works fine (I have both 2020 and 2024 installed and running) but the 2024 version does this weird relocation thing and is also impossible to get off the ground (from hot start on runway - just won't get up to speed and get in the air).

I see no-one from Kwikflight seems to have responded to the original poster after four months. Any chance of a response here?

Just did a search for "SKRG" in the aircraft's folder, and found a reference to it in some ATC parameters (?) in a file called "taxi.FLT". Disabled the file by renaming it as "taxi.FLT.bak" and the aircraft spawns ok now. Still a swine to get in the air, but at least I can crash anywhere I choose now. Had a couple of flights and checked the folder and it hadn't recreated a "taxi.FLT" file so no idea if it's necessary or not.

Would still be nice to get a proper response from Kwikflight. Not feeling inclined to buy anything esle from them if they ever do anything.

(@Surfgeek, try this if you're still having problems)
