Please note the following is by design- Pushing the HDG SEL knob: If HDG or HDG/S mode is NOT engaged, it synchronizes the heading in the HDG SEL window with the present aircraft heading. If HDG or HDG/S mode is engaged on the FMA, pushing has no effect. Pulling the HDG SEL knob: If HDG or HDG/S mode is NOT engaged, it engages the HDG/S mode. If HDG or HDG/S mode is engaged on the FMA, pulling has no effect. Please confirm this is what you're noticing? If not, please add a similar video of what you're seeing and include the variant & livery used. Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing? Just spawn at gate, head into the cockpit and immediately take a photo. Thanks! Next to the loudspeaker knob on both sides of the cockpit, there is a 3-position switch that controls the lighting of the console. Around the time the new radio stack was released, a bug was introduced where this light is now on by default. I'll try to take a screenshot later on. Regarding the heading knob, yes, it was my misunderstanding.
