TheEvilToaster Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 (edited) I've noticed the FD on the HUD does not any lateral guidance like the PFD does. Its making the HUD feel useless and I end up flying without it majority of the time and almost impossible to follow an ILS approach using it. Here is an example. HUD --- Notice how there is only a single horizonal line to help with vertical guidance but nothing to show and help with lateral guidance PFD --- Showing both vertical and lateral guidance with the help of the small circle in the center, this is not shown on the HUD Here is a photo from the real aircraft showing the HUD has both lateral and vertical guidance as it is certified to be used as a PFD. Notice the small diamond and circle in the center. OrionNZ Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Also note how the iniBuilds HUD does not align with the horizon, unlike the actual HUD - making it useless. The HUD on the A400M is supposed to be the Primary Flight Display reference, if you watch actual A400 cockpit vids they have 2x NAV displays on their screens (ANOTHER thing the iniBuilds A400M is unable to do!) - however with the HUD the way it is now it is just a liability to flight. I realise these posts are probably a waste of time as it seems iniBuilds does not even monitor this forum at all, which is strange - but meh the info has been advised. Shame, as I thought the iniBuilds aircraft were quitre good.. 1
