alexfortuna Posted November 24 Posted November 24 no reverse thrust sound in cabin a330 GE variant and barley and sound when toga or full power, also partly in the RR VARIENT a bit , (not loud at all) and yes I reinstalled/deleted the a330 streamed packages & sound a few times already) and have amazing internet) so they can be reinstalled and stream properly, the issue consist with the aircraft and the way the sounds were developed, I'm not the only one that's noticed issue with the sounds being way to quiet, I've seen it in over 20 streams, mentioning it, I hope there's an update in the future that improves the sound, cause they defiantly need improving or a fix, if it is a bug, you can hop into the sim your self and compare with the real life sounds in the cabin, yes I know nothing is perfect, but barley any to no sound in cabin or cockpit isn't normal, and I'm a a330 freak :) 1
Akitas Posted November 28 Posted November 28 yes I also noticed the same, the engines are almost not heard, the simulation is not very immersive like this...
MR.TX Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Imo. the whole soundscape of the A330 needs some serious improvement. Cabin sounds aren't modeled at all, with the cockpit ventilation and fan sounds being audible throughout the aircraft. The RR engines sound meh at best (very artifcial with obvious transitions trough different samples). Lots of buttons have missing sounds which are present in other ini Airbus aircraft. There are volume issues with many different sounds etc. TLDR: The sounds provided for the A330 simply aren't up to the standard of other ini builds products, including freeware. 3
Bigt Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Agreed, on all. For one, the RR Trent engines spool too quickly which ruins the immersion from their famous "Trent howl" sound. Other sounds such as the multiple "clunks" from the gear coming up during departure are missing. In general, Mr. TX is right, the sounds are not adequate and need improvement.
