Throttle Sensitivity for the A330s

Featured Replies

Is there a recommended throttle sensitivity? I have the TCA Airbus Throttle and calibrated my throttle through the EFB.

However, the sensitivity between Idle to around 70% N1 is very sensitive and a little push on the my TCA would bring the thrust to 70% N1

Hello, please check Throttle Axis, click the settings cog and tweak action curve. I found mine had some wierd default curve. I reset back to linear and my throttles work perfect now. I’m able to taxi without having the problem you’re having.

Will check this but last time I checked it was linear

Hello, I also have the same problem, and I found this link:

I think you need to go to your a330 EFB to do the calibrations for inibuilds a330

Hello! Same issue here. EFB calibaration does not help. I do not think it has anything to do with hardware - try moving the levers with your mouse, the same thing happens.

Same Here, Despite correct EFB calibration (My Levers go to the chosen Position, Idle, Clb Toga Etc), but the section from Idle to Clb gate is way over sensitive Like a 2mm movement on Physical makes the in aircraft throttles shoot up to approx 50%.

Before anyone directs me to the Hardware settings within the 2024 controls settings, YES BEEN THERE and tried just about EVERY concoction of settings from Linear to some way bent curves, dead zones, no dead zones.

So Same settings on Fenix and FBW with same Hardware and everything works Spot on, just the A330-300

Try to force-reset the calibration by toggling the "reverse on axis" a few times. Exit back to the main menu. Select another plane, then A330 again. Load in and set the calibration now.

For a full guide (including troubleshooting) on calibration, it's available here:
