Cygnifick Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Hello, After having a quick peak I noticed static airport vehicles like the ambulance, firefighter etc. have LOD pop-in at close distance, same for the terras seat and tables. Also some buildings have white emmisive textures at night close to the airport. I dont have ORBX or Asobo's LOWI installed.
Cygnifick Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 I hope you have another look at the LOD of many models, also at night!. The restaurant above the terminal building also has a emissive issue and there is a multistore building just before the runway that has it's emissive full on, lighting all windows and getting closer the lights work as they should with less windows lid.

qwertyplanes Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Hello @Cygnifick, Can you send specific screenshots of these issues? Spoke to the team and we haven't included any ambulances or fire trucks for this scenery

Spoke to the team and we haven't included any ambulances or fire trucks for this scenery Hello, sorry for the wrong names I gave! It's mostly the vehicles in front of the terminal, like; ini_Props_Belt_Loader_PULLEY_ , ini_Props_Snow_Cleaner_STEYR_91_Body_VAR* , ini_Props_D_Power_Ground_Mercedes The belt_loader_low in front has 3/3 already loaded. The models behind (in the row) are still shown (I fixed those objects myself) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The ambulance is the modelname for the hospital. The switch is not very obvious in a still picture. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No idea where the firefighter name came from, but there is indeed none ^^
qwertyplanes Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Hello, Thanks, can you send a screenshot of the glowing assets? and what exactly did you fix?

Sorry i'm a bit limited in time atm, just go into night mode and freecam around, you notice the buildings that have emissive issues mostly around the airport area. I remade those models with "better" lod structure. No idea if using lod number 0 for the last lod model is the issue here but I never use those, LOD 100, 20, 14 ,10,1 are used for the GSE models in my example and leaving the glass nodes active, except the last lod model. Also the Asobo containers used are having this lod issue, just a colored box very close to the viewpoint (as shown in the tower picture)
Cygnifick Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 (edited) To make it clear, I dont want to talk the product down and rather had this posted in a private conversation, the models for and near the airport themself are great (same for the ski jump area) and have put a lot of time into by your team. It just deserves a tiny bit of optimisation in the LOD part to make it perfect. Edited November 4 by Cygnifick
