B747-8f Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Hi Team, how do I setup Reverse thrust on an axis? I use a thrustmaster warthog throttle. On the PMDG I use a switch to select Reverse, so the throttle axis becomes the Reverser-Axis. This doesn´t work in the A300 though. Thank´s in advance, Toto
MarcusVT Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I use the same HOTAS, I`ve set the A10 air brake as throttle decrement. When I land I push it. The usual OFF detent doesn`t work
Crabby Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Set up your throttle axis Set button to Reverse Hold. Your throttle should now increase the "reverse" amount. More throttle, more reverse. Now, I use AAO and my button has an on/off that I can use. On=reverse hold off= engines idle (reversers stowed). Not sure how you do all thin inside of MSFS, as I don't use it for my controls. I am sure if you do a search you will find an answer. Mark "Crabby" Crabtree AAL311 | PHL I7-9700KF | 2070 Super | Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo | MFG Crosswind

B747-8f Posted May 20 Author Posted May 20 Thank you crabby, this is exactly how I‘ve set it up for the PMDG 737. However, it doesn‘t work on the A300. Best regards

I just looked and that is how I have it set up through AAO using the Honeycomb B. Mark "Crabby" Crabtree AAL311 | PHL I7-9700KF | 2070 Super | Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo | MFG Crosswind

Best regards For some reason only global decrement throttle works for reverse. When you reduce power individually on each engine it doesn't. This is why I set airbreak so I can use PMDG and A300 withouth changing profile in simulator.
