cmdr shepard Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Having issues with fuel quantities. Flight plan is EGNX/EBBR. Using simbrief flight plan with airframe as G-INPW for the PW version of this lastest build for MSFS. My issue is that the fuel displays in the aircraft do not appear to show the correct quantity of fuel. I end up with about 36% of the total value and consequently run out of fuel for my 1 hour 21min flight time. I start my aircraft on the runway ready for take off. I switch of the engine and select my weight and balance in the EFB and "apply load to aircraft" loading my custom load from Simbrief. The icon at the top animates to show fuel loading i.e red square with spinning circle. This is my first flight with the inibuilds A300-600r PW. Perhaps it is my lack of knowledge with this aircraft or something I have not checked, therfore my apologies. Can someone assist me by doing the same flight. I usually run out of fuel just before the approach to EBBR. Thank you. I also set up a new flight plan for EGNX/EDDP, the same issue I end up with the same quantities of fuel displayed in the aircraft displays.( Although I may add that the EFB appears to show the correct fuel quantities as per Simbrief. The "T.FUEL" number appears to be the same for both flight plans. I really dont understand the issue here ?. Or a bug ?. Or something I am doing wrong ?.
unhinged_aviator Posted April 6 Posted April 6 (edited) Did you forgot to hit "Apply Load to Aircraft" because the sensed fuel value of approx. 3,000 kgs in both wing tanks is the default value the plane spawns with. Edited April 6 by unhinged_aviator
richboy2307 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Hi, can you confirm in your settings you don't have any assists on or any other tool/utility running that would control the fuel/payload of the aircraft? Just to confirm that it isn't some addon conflict, try running with only the A300 in your community folder (no additional liveries either) To do this easily you can: 1. Rename your existing community folder to ``_Community`` 2. Create a new ``Community`` folder in its place. 3. Copy only the ``inibuilds-aircraft-a300-600`` folder inside it. 4 .Run the sim and see if same problem persists. If yes, then you can close the sim, and restore your original folder as follows: 1. Copy the ``inibuilds-aircraft-a300-600`` folder back to ``_Community``, 2. Delete the new ``Community`` folder you made 3. Rename the ``_Community`` folder to ``Community`` If no, then that means there is some other addon conflicting with the ini A300. Usual suspect is bad liveries, so you could try by adding only some of the other a300 liveries in until you can reproduce the problem. Same process for other addons till you find the culprit.
