When I land there is no sound when I touch the runway, I seem to have the weight of a feather, only then do I hear the tires rolling. From the outside view it's worse, I don't hear the tires screaming at the touch.

I don't remember if there was a sound on the previous releases. I actually use FSRealistic to add a touchdown sound. It's better than nothing, but I do agree with you that a original touchdown sounds should be added.
