Maximum MDA seems to be 8000 ft

Good evening,

just approaching Quito, SEQM and realized that the maximum MDA possible to enter into the approach page seems to be 8000 ft; anything higher than this results in a format error. The MDA for the CAT I ILS into SEQM Runway 36 is 8110 ft. Is this a bug or a limitation from the real aircraft? Max airport elevation seems to be 8500 ft for the A300-600

Saw this too. Even if the max altitude for TO and LDG was 8000, the minima can never be 8000 as well as MDA is always higher. In the SPerry FMS manual, there is no mention of character limitations in this field.
