Are there any default MSFS commands to disconnect the autopilot, or would I need to use a 3rd party app like SPAD for that?

    Do I need to map both of those to a button or will the first one do the job?

    Use the AUTOPILOT_OFF command in MSFS if you don't want to use something like Spad.Next
