Engine EGT on a cold start

Hello,

Both engine EGT's indicate 84C when starting a cold flight with a TAT of 15C and an ATIS OAT of 10C. This is at KPMD. 

The EGT indication system should indicate close to the OAT but will not indicate negative temps.
