Hello guys,

 

Could someone shed some light on how to operate the Flaps/Slats after takeoff? I usually have VFE speeds at or close to VR and Slat retraction speed shortly after. So my understanding is that i could immediately retract everything after liftoff which seems a bit counterintuitive. For example VR 163 kts, VFE 166 and slat retraction around 180 kts.  So if i rotate gently i am at about 180 knots after liftoff...

 

Any tipps appreciated!

I keep slats and flaps (15/15) until around 200kts and then retract all to zero in one go. Clean speed (green dot) is short above 200 in most cases.
