In A300 and A310, when HDG SEL mode is selected, PROF mode if previously active or armed, cancels. But it should not happen in A300-600R. It is like Boeing planes. PROF or VNAV remains active. It is true for A320, A330, CLB changes to OP CLB when HDG mode is selected. But for A300, PROF should remain active.
