Autopilot disconnect... why?

I'm running the latest version of the plane. I have some connection problems with the autopilot.

 

Yesterday I had a flight and could only connect ap2, but not ap1.

Now I'm in cruise (just a normal, stable, regular flight) and for some reason the autopilot disconnects a few times. I was away from the pc and found my plane at 12.000ft and turning around. There was no input from the joystick or rudder. This happened 3 times on my current flight.

 

So, what could be the cause of this? Something I did wrong?

Key binding?  Noisy pots on controllers?  There could be a multitude of reasons this happened.  Impossible to tell with the description and information provided.  The only thing I can say for sure is that on my system, with my controllers, with my bindings, the WAY I do my bindings, in 20 flights between V1.00 and V1.02, I have not seen this even once.
