The brightness of the FCU display windows should be dimmable with the glareshield dimming rheostat.  As of now, they are not dimmable.  
 

As an aside, does anyone on the technical team know if this rheostat also controls the brightness of the TRP display windows?  I can not find anything on this in the various FCOMs/Mx manuals.
