cconesa Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Could someone be so kind to tell me if there is a way to select the altitude in the MCP in smaller units than 1000 feet so that I can select a level such as 15,400 ft, etc. At present I can only select altitudes in 1000 feet increment/reductions. Thank you.
Crabby Posted January 3, 2024 Posted January 3, 2024 Press on the ALT knob to enter 100s mode then press again to return to 1000s mode. This is the knob you turn left and righ to change the altitude. 1 Mark "Crabby" Crabtree AAL311 | PHL I7-9700KF | 2070 Super | Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo | MFG Crosswind
cconesa Posted January 3, 2024 Author Posted January 3, 2024 Thanks crabby!, was that even in the manual?. I would have never guessed that’s what you needed to do

I would have never guessed that’s what you needed to do Honestly, the only part of the manual I looked at was the EFB section. This came from my A310 pre-release reading of the FCOM. The A310 and A300 have almost identical operation, if not identical. So I honestly don't know if it is in the INI manual or not.
