A320 V2 Retard Call out

Hi

I find an issue about Retard Callout

In reality, even if the throttle is in idle, the Call out should be Twenty.. Retard… Ten

However, in the beta version, the Retard is missing when thrust idle. Hope this issue can be fixed

Anyway, it is a great product!

Thank you very much

This is the correct behavior for the flight management system. If the throttles are fully idle prior to 20' AGL the cue will not sound.

No, that is incorrect

On the FCOM (DSC-34-NAV-40-10 RADIO ALTIMETER - DESCRIPTION) it says,

**__RETARD ANNOUNCEMENT__**
The loudspeaker announces RETARD at:
- 20 ft, or
- at 10 ft if autothrust is active and one autopilot is in LAND mode.

Thanks the guy who mentioned this in discord

No, your info is misunderstood: The FCOM is right, but it says: „… at 20ft AGL when autothrust and one AP is ON!
But if you put the thrust manually into IDLE-position, the autothrust automatically switches off!

Bro, check out Airbus landing videos on YouTube They all announce 'retard' when the throttle is at idle with autopilot disengaged . By the way, Fenix's 'retard' callout logic is also correct. If you have their product, you could try it out.
