vsTerminus Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 I'm assuming you're already aware of FlightSim Economy and what it is so I'll skip that. Basically I wanted to try the An-225 with FSE using their SimConnect client. FSE doesn't have a 225 available to fly and the next biggest thing is a 747. So I did what we do all the time in FSE, I downloaded these liveries for the 225 and edited the "title" field in "aircraft.cfg" to match one of the recognized 747 aliases in FSE's database. FSE SimConnect recognized the plane normally, it detects the state of the parking brake, wheels, location, etc all normally. But when I hit "Start Flight" in the client and the client tries to set the fuel and payload to match the job I've taken it throws an IndexOutOfRangeException and all I can do is quit. Is this because the aircraft.cfg file included with the livery is basically just a skeleton? Hard to know because we can't see the real one since this is a Marketplace addon. Anyway I would appreciate it if you could look into this and at least help me determine where the problem is. Thanks. Steps to Reproduce Assuming you already have an FSE game world account... Otherwise you will need to register for one. Download these liveries: https://flightsim.to/file/51022/antonov-an-225-cccp-82060-1989-livery Drop either one of them into your Community Packages folder Edit the "aircraft.cfg" file for the livery as I have done in the attached image Set title="Boeing 747 FSE" Launch MSFS Launch the FSE SimConnect client In FSE, find an airport which has a 747-400 and take an "All In Reserved" job that matches the registration number of the 747 at that airport. Add it to your flight Start a flight in the An-225 using the edited livery at the starting airport for the job you just took FSE SimConnect should show that you are in a 747-400 and at the right location. Click Action -> Start Flight Result: It throws this error. Anyway, thanks for taking a look. Deleted Account Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Heya! I'll forward this to the team, but I think it would be easier to try and contact FSE and see if they could add a native profile for the AN225 🙂
