A300 X-plane 11 spool time

Hi there.

Fantastic bit of software this. Thank you for your hard work. Just a quick question though, after watching some videos of A300s from the cockpit, I feel like the engine spool times are so slow. I've actually edited the values in plane maker to get it close to what I am seeing/ hearing on the videos.

I saw you replied in the other thread about this as well.

Our engines have a custom model and were tuned according to their respective manuals. I can assure you it will be more accurate than some feel you get from watching a Youtube video.

I don't doubt the majority of the engine parameters. I have a friend who is an engineer on the A300-600 and has worked on the CF6 engine, the spool up times should be around 8 seconds according to him, but it takes 15 from idle to max power. With regards to the YouTube videos, It's what I am seeing and hearing as opposed to just feel, Quicker N1 response to throttle inputs and engine sounds to follow.

If I set compressor spool up time to 7 or 8 seconds, it reflects what I am seeing and hearing in those videos.. That's what I'm saying.  I don't see how it can be more accurate than real life video and expert feedback.
