Press the Clear button above your Speed Brake Lever, it should be lit up, alternately map your side stick properly so the AP Cancel switch works as planned, 1st Press Cancel AP, 2nd Press Cancel Alarm.

As with any other AC in the the sim... you have adjusted your dead zones and sensitivity to suit your flight stick haven't you? I found "-4" good for sensitivity on the Thrustmaster TCA Stick, sorts out the madness a good bit!

Aircraft works fine in 24. Not sure that any claim for a refund would warrant on the fact you do not want to install SU1 when there is a big banner on the website warning you about the need to have it, that's like buying a car and then claiming you want a full refund because you don't have a licence to drive it. IMHO SU1 has a good raft of improvements for 2024 without considering the A350 so I'd recommend getting it anyway regardless of the outcome of your refund request.
