Are you using the TDS GPS (TDSGTNXi 750)? If so, you have to make sure it is included in the exclusions for your virus software. I had to do that when I was using Norton. Also, you may either have to manually start the TDSGTNXiFlightSimEXE.exe for it to show up, or make sure you start MSFS2024 in Administrator mode to get it to load automatically. I have to load manually because running the sim in Admin mode disables my Stream Deck. Go figure! If I select the PMS GTN750, I don't have any issue.

Make sure the switch on the left side of the cockpit is on. It controls the A/P power. That fixed it for me.
-
Got it. Thanks.

Will there be a free update for the Fly2High KCAK Akron Airport coming to iniManager? Apparently it is free on SimMarket, but I purchased my 2020/2024 version from iniManager. This is supposed to be a native MSFS2024 version just released according to FSElite. Thanks

That's because all three of the Avionics switches on the left wall are turned on when you select "Ready for T.O." The A/P will not work unless all three are on (i.e. in the forward position). If you start the plane from Cold & Dark, you have to make sure all three of those levers are on if you want the A/P to work. They did not make that clear in the checklist, apparently it just says "as required".

Much appreciated. Although it did finally work for me, others that are having issues would like to have everything working as expected. Now, how about a Piper Navajo, Chieftan or Cheyenne in the future plans. Cessna and Beech get all the love. 😊
-
Ah yes. The Spartan. Another one of my Hangar Queens. That hangar keeps getting bigger all the time. 😏

Got all working correctly this morning with the A/P. I was using the PMS650. I was on a heading greater than 90 degrees from the couse I entered (using the Direct button). The plane turned to the new course, intercepted, and tracked as expected. Make sure all three Avionics levers on the left panel are on, the A/P switch is up (on center, lower console) and press the NAV button (HDG is off). Also, that the CDI says GPS. You have to search around to find that setting. Altitude hold and V/S worked as well using my Bravo A/P buttons and knob. Yes, it takes a bit of button pushing in various spots, but it does, indeed, work (for me, anyway).

I'll have to check that. Just one more thing, I guess, to make it work. This plane was not designed for imbeciles such as myself. Too used to the simpler planes like Warrior and 172. 🙄
-
Yes, expected better from iniBuilds. I did not have any issue with altitude hold, even got the VS to work. But NAV seemed to be "borked". HDG was OK, but I could not get an intercept to track. Hopefully, iniBuilds will fix and release an update soon.
-
Thanks for checking that. Sometimes I think these aircraft developers enjoy having making simmers figure out themselves what should have been in the missing manuals. Imagine trying to fly a real airplane yet not having a clue where anything is. 🙄
-
That's what I had finally done and then the A/P on button worked. Some instructions with the plane would have been helpful finding this. I'll have to go back and look at the checklist. Its probably listed there.Unfortunately, I still could not get the NAV to intercept after doing that.
-
Had that issue initially, but it finally engaged after I was flying. There is a rocker-type switch at the bottom of the column. YD is down, and YD/AP if you flip it up. Then you have to use the buttons above with ALT, NAV, HDG etc with FD on. They are hard to see because its an old Autopilot.

Looking for any instructions (preferably written) on how to work the autopilot on the Caravan II. All seemed to be working as expected, but it would not intercept and track a GPS course using HDG to intercept with NAV on to take over once intercepted. Any help is appreciated.

Just installed the Xometry KMDT from the MSFS2024 Marketplace. No more pink textures. 😀
-
I'll go back and check again, however
-
Not sure. I switched to the Sierrasim version which is working fine even though it is the 2020 version
-
Any update on this issue? Should have been fixed and updated by now.
-
Gave it another try. It loads OK, but I got color/texture issues on the terminal ramp (see attached).
-
OK. If you say so. I'll try it again. IniManger usually indicates if an airport is compatible, but it still says 2020 (compare to Trenton, Akron, Oklahoma City, etc. which has both sims showing. Thanks for your response.
-
Will Xometry be making a MSFS2024 update for KMDT (Harrisburg Intl)? This is my "go-to" airport for commercial flights. Tried to put the 2020 version in 2024 and it did not appear to be working. The default MS/ASOBO is not very good. I have the 2020 version and like it, but having completely switched to 2024, I'd love to have KMDT for theat version. Thanks

OK iniBuilds or Fly2High: This issue, though not critical, has reached the point of annoying. Why can't this get fixed? -

Same issue here with both 2020 and 2024. I have sent request to iniBuilds and have been assigned a case number, but still no response after several weeks. This is not a critical problem, but very annoying. Not sure if this means I won't get any updates. Guessing the issue with Fly2High? -
Glad to know it was not something I was doing wrong (MSFS2020 and no charts). I kept entering the code that I was given, and the Navigraph page said I was connected, but the panel in the A320 (3rd Person in the Options), would never change. Not sure why this issue did not show up with the YouTube folks who got an early release. Hope this gets resolved quickly. I'd like to figure out how to use this airplane.
