I completely agree. It's hard to believe that in 2025 we're still dealing with poor-quality sound in high-fidelity aircraft. These are issues we should've left behind in the X-Plane 10 era, when nearly every payware aircraft required an external sound pack. If anyone can get it right today, it's iFly, Fenix – PMDG has already recognized this and adapted accordingly. Even freeware projects like the A380 and the A320 from FlyByWire now offer near-perfect sound design. INIbuilds, in particular, should seriously reconsider their approach here.
Personally, the poor sound and inefficient main thread utilization are the main reasons why I’ve only flown the aircraft a handful of times – which is a real shame. In the end, after every high comes a fall if a company fails to evolve (just look at Intel). Listening to the community and taking their feedback seriously would be a smart move.
