The simrate already has 2 events "Increase sim rate" and "decrease sim rate" in the Miscellaneous section. I have 2 keys assigned to that, pgup and pgdown. But now this functionallity is actually blocked by involving the EFB time compression. Why?

Skip the whole time compression in the EFB, I don't see why it's there. Why not just use the keyboard to simply increase and decrease the sim rate?
