  1. Have a look at the below video at 3 mins 10 seconds. Flap 1 is selected and the indications shows only the slats extend.

However if you are slow enough when you move the FLAP lever to 1, both slats and flaps will extend.

    Thanks for your comment but you’re incorrect. The placard is just for reference, it has no bearing on flap movement. 
     

    1 and 1 + F are listed separately as they’re separate flap configurations depending on the phase of flight - landing and takeoff respectively. 

  3. Hi, 

    When selecting Flap 1 in the air, only the slats should extend. However in the sim the airctaft is extending both the slats and flaps. This is incorrect. 

    On the ground, selecting Flap 1 extends both slats and flaps - this is correct in the sim.
