  1. Hopefully they will fix it sooner than later. To me, v/s is one of those modes that's imperative, especially when flying in an ATC/multiplayer environment. V/s, LNAV, Dir to, autothrottle have to be rock solid. Its disappointing that V/S is bugged now as its honestly one of the more basic functions.
  2. Same problem here as well and a friend sent me a vid clip of the A300 doing the same thing with him. That's a shame as I was really enjoying the plane.
  3. "So the question I have: do you feel like you are floating quite far down the runway in an attempt to chase that smooth landing but then not getting it?" No, it's actually the exact opposite where I flare, and it feels like I immediately smack the runway. I haven't floated any that I can think of, and I realize in the scheme of things LRM numbers don't mean much. Your comment gave me an idea as to what I might be doing wrong though. Generally, I flare at 30ft and pull the power all the way out at the same time which I think in turn was giving me that little drop down to the runway. So I think, as you said, I need to stay in the power till 20' or maybe just pull back way more gradually from 30' vs dumping it. Anyway, I love cargo ops bc it allows me to take a heavy Airbus into way smaller fields that don't generally see those kinds of aircraft passenger wise. I'm talking KABY (6,600'), KROA (6,800' and 5,800') so there generally isn't time to try to finesse a butter landing. It's more of a, we gotta get down and get into the reversers asap lol.
  4. So, I've had a blast flying the cargo variant of the A300 and I've made multiple trips in it so far, but I feel like I'm borking the flare somehow. Every landing that I have tracked in LRM has been a firm landing ranging from, 198-254. So far, my technique is to start flaring at the 30' callout and then ease out of the power, but it still feels like I'm smacking the ground. Does anyone have any tips? Do I need to flare earlier? Leave some power in instead of taking it all out before touching down?
  5. Thanks guys! Can't wait to test it out since I had to quit my job flying the A300 for UPS and start flying for Prime Air 😆
  6. You're right on that. I ran into this bug in one of my first few flights after getting the airplane, but I attributed it to just me being unfamiliar with the plane and I never saw the problem again. It definitely seems like something has been exacerbated bc its constant. Every flight with a turn, that I have taken, it seems like the plane flies the first leg fine but the return trip always winds up bugged.
  7. AHMED showing within the 5nm distance ring but the top right distance is showing 147nm... LNAV failed on this flight as well as soon as I departed. First leg it worked fine...
  8. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the problem persists, so no fix for me unfortunately...
  9. Same here as well as the 10nm distance discrepancy.
  10. I can confirm this problem as well. Last night I was flying the freighter version from KSDF to KRFD on a 51 min hop and turn back. The flight up to KRFD went fine. Vatsim controller cleared me dir to my first SID waypoint and the plane flew fine the whole way up. I landed, shut down the engines, ran the APU and reprogrammed/reloaded for the return flight. Took off and the controller cleared me Dir to my first fix. I was currently on heading mode with level change. I hit dir to the fix and Nav mode and the plane immediately started making a hard turn to the left. My correct heading was to the south. From that point on I was unable to use nav mode no matter what fix I was currently heading to. Every time I activated Nav mode the plane started that left hand turn. Also, I noticed with one of the fixes, when I was practically on top of it it was inside the 5nm ring going off the map display but the fix information in the top right corner said that I was 12nm away from it.
