I have heard the A310 is a beast when it comes to power to weight ratio. I do love the A300. Its more involved than I thought.
I not really had an issue with speeds and climbing... Quite a rocket for a big ole' fat bird xD.

I don't doubt the majority of the engine parameters. I have a friend who is an engineer on the A300-600 and has worked on the CF6 engine, the spool up times should be around 8 seconds according to him, but it takes 15 from idle to max power. With regards to the YouTube videos, It's what I am seeing and hearing as opposed to just feel, Quicker N1 response to throttle inputs and engine sounds to follow.
If I set compressor spool up time to 7 or 8 seconds, it reflects what I am seeing and hearing in those videos.. That's what I'm saying. I don't see how it can be more accurate than real life video and expert feedback.

I agree with A300PilotAmerican in relation to the thrust been Sluggish. I have tweaked this in X-plane maker. If you go to the menu and then hit standard, engine specs, then to the right, Start/spool up and change "compressor spool up time" to 7 sec Check fuel pump advance time is at 3 seconds too, I think it is by default anyway. Then you closely resemble what I hear in the video I've linked. I know the A310 in the video has the PW engines, but even they are slow to spool on the ini A300.
With regard to climb performance, I have no idea and trust that the sim is close to the real thing? ..

Fantastic bit of software this. Thank you for your hard work. Just a quick question though, after watching some videos of A300s from the cockpit, I feel like the engine spool times are so slow. I've actually edited the values in plane maker to get it close to what I am seeing/ hearing on the videos.

Terribly annoying issue. I think I'll just disable the tiller axis for now ...
