    Hello again,

Please check back after the 1.0.8 update planned for today and let me know if this is resolved. I've tried 3 flights letting the plane do its thing and I've had no issue. The aircraft lands perfectly smooth and in the touch-down zone.

I do think weather may have had an effect here. What turbulence setting are you both on? What has the weather been like on each auto-land you've attempted?

    Thank you 🙂

Thanks Eddie, I'll check on this over the weekend 🙂

  2. Either one of you aeronautical engineers, I know I'm not, so where do you get off with dogmatic assertions about what "should" be the behavior?  I have a sim that predicts how much fuel is needed in a flight, and you know, that amount seems to work, I arrive at my destination. And I have a sim that predicts what TOD is, and when I descend there, and have the flight computer control it, you know what, I arrive at the IAF to my approach at the correct altitude.  To this amatuer that means its working pretty well.  I have no interest in further debate on the matter...

  3. "Managed" descent means it is calcuating a veritical path, not that it is following some fixed throttle behavior, if you initiate descent early it will follow a shallower path, the small green dot on the altitude tape shows that it is above/below/on that path. Behavior has seemed correct in my flights.

  4. Its you guys, the speed display works as does the autopilot... I've flown two long hauls in the last two days without issue.  You both say you are taking the covers off but this SURE sounds like you haven't, are you absolutely sure?? These are the covers way up right on the nose right?  If you don't get an update to the speed tape on the take-off roll, then that's why...

    Hope you solve it!

  5. I'm pretty sure this has only started happening with 1.0.7 but am not sure, but in my last couple flights the plane wouldn't actually touch down for half the runway 😞  It's completely hands off so it's not like I am doing something different. Can Inibuild tell me if anything might have changed to cause this, or for that matter anyone else that can confirm they see it as well?  My VA likes to "grade" landings and keeps severly dinging me on this 😞  Anything I can do to "fix" it perhaps??

    Cheers guys,

    Jack

  6. I suggest you either study the manual, or go find one of the many videos on the boobtube and watch that, this is a VERY complex plane, if you wanted to jump into something on the runway, push the trottle and go you picked the wrong thing to fly.

BTW, Beta is over, you should have the production version now, but I don't know that's your problem, I never had problems with Beta either.  Maybe update the sim, and then uninstall/reinstall the plane from the Inibuild Manager.

    Good luck!

  7. Ah, I guess you selected the no-has-wheels option 🙃

OK, seriously now,   do your other planes have wheels? Do you mean in the world after it spawned or in the menu display?

Really guys, how would you like to solve a problem with only this much information, do you think you could do it? Problem/bug reports need DETAIL, otherwise how can anyone hope to figure it out??

  8. Simple flow, and it works for me every time, so find what you are doing differently:  Start at cruise, whatever it is right, then adjust altitude setting to something lower, in many cases I just set it all the way to my ILS capture point. Watch your flight display, look for the TOD symbol, when you are oh 10 miles before it, but the exact amount doesn't matter, however what does matter is you're BEFORE it, now position cursor over altitude knob so you see an UP arrow, left click mouse.  That's it. It may not be an instant response, but it will start descent.  Remember - up arrow is push to computer,  down arrow is pull to pilot. So, you push, and now flight computer controls descent, it will not only start descent but it will adjust it and respect constraints on the RNAV descent path you might be on.

I updated the plane, the sim, they are the latest, and I just did a flight this morning, it works.

Create a flight plan in SimBrief, download the flight plan iniBuilds Flightplan (A350)copy the fp, go to your WASM folder > work > flightplans > paste the flight plan there.

THEN go to your INIT PAGE and enter the DEPARTURE and ARRIVAL airport. Your flight plan should now load and can be inserted

LOL, man that's the hard way of doing things 😁 Just use the OIS, flight ops, and push the SimBrief button there...

  10. There's a principle in scientific/logical method, called falsification. Your hypthosis, that the A350 is broken, implies that all users should see the issue. But I dont and I am not alone. So it can't be the A350 pure and simple, instead it must be the A350 in YOUR environment, saying other airplanes work doesn't mean anything, its been pointed out over and over that the Fenix works primarily independently of the sim, this doesnt.  I tried some suggestions, if they dont help it must be something else...

I hope you figure it out,

  11. You can do two things, first as DroneSim noted, the no-cabin option is in the configuration menu for the aircraft, select that. But also, using IniBuilds external manager, you can select to install reduced cockpit textures.  I am using both, and they have certainly helped me.

Hi, did SU1 bring any stability updates/fixes for the A350 that where not in the beta?

I was running the beta, am now on the official release, it's not the plane, it's working with no issue for me. Did you clear out your community folder, I've seen reports of that being a cause of problems. Am enroute on a flight as I post this, and it doesn't crash, its even running 4x compression.. purring along like a kitten 😀

  13. Why do people, when having issues just blame the plane, I have no issue in control, on the ground, in the air, not jerky, not weightless... but I did struggle to get the whole sim configuration right for some time.  I fly both the 350 and premium 300 and they seem to be well-behaved for me.

I would humbly suggest you pursue your configuration, or even hardware, it isn't the A350.

  14. You're missing something because, trust me, this works. Am in the middle of a flight so I can't go back and tell you the button sequence, OH... once you hit that CPNY request, you need to wait a couple second, it should change to a light color, then you highlight and click it again, you will then have the option to INSERT, did you see that?

    Good luck!
