Gear mechanism too slow + geometry unloaded a bit too soon

Featured Replies

The 3D model of the landing gear is absolutely beautiful, well done to those involved.

Unfortunately, when using a camera angle that shows the gear retracting or extending, parts of the 3D model inside the bay seems to be unloaded/culled before the door closes, so we can see it happening. Just delaying that by a few seconds seems like a quick fix. (It's unrelated to Performance mode -- it's the same with the cockpit door open)

Also, it seems to me that the gear retraction and extension is too slow. Both up and down completes in the sim in 20 seconds. If you watch real take-offs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpRW9Di4ino for example) it's more like 13 seconds. Hopefully that's an easy fix too.

Thanks!
