The A380, I learn, has a performance mode which unloads the cabin unless the cockpit door is open -- an excellent idea.

The 350 also has a Performance mode, but having tested it by opening the cockpit door while looking at the vram allocation and frame times, I don't think it unloads the cabin.

1) is that correct? What does it hide then?

2) What are the odds of 350 inheriting that tech (cabin unloaded when door closed) from the 380 in v2 or 1.2.7? I'm sure it would give us a nice boost.

I believe the A350 v2 will enherit the A380 tech for hiding the cabin when door is closed. I will verify this with the team.

Will that mean that there will be a cabin on Xbox? The A380 runs very nicely on Xbox, so Performance Mode definitely has a considerable impact, so, well done! Thanks!

Yes, I believe there will be a cabin modelled on the a350 for X-box.

This feature was added about 3 days after I asked for it, so I'm pretty impressed by my powers of persuasion. What should I ask for next?

The trick of opening and closing the cockpit door is good, but it doesn’t feel very realistic. If we want to see the cabin, we have to leave the cockpit door open, even during takeoff if we want to enjoy the wing view.

It would be better if this feature could be implemented as a click spot near the cockpit door.

Just my idea for an improvement. I hope it will be considered!
