Ok, so I’ve tried to understand the cabin announcements and what triggers them and get all different answers…haven’t found anything on the manual, and ALL I ever get is the “boarding”, “safety”, and “thanks for flying with us yada yada” announcements. Never anything telling flight attendants to prepare for takeoff / landing, never a captain address etc. the only thing I know to check is the pa button in the cockpit (got the sounds in cockpit now). Is there a list of what announcements I SHOULD be hearing and HOW to trigger them??? I’ve googled this off and on for a year…PLEASE inibuilds, settle this for me once and for all…HOW DO THESE WORK??

So I know certain things need to be switched on …apparently the cabin ready button needs to be pressed on the flight attendant’s panel?? I press it but nothing. It’s stuff like this that I don’t know…I’m not hearing all the announcements…what am I missing? Can I at the very least get a list of all the announcements I SHOULD hear so I know which im missing?
