Moridin
Hi! I'm having issues with taxiing on a few airports. Some require excessive amounts of thrust to get moving, while others don't. As an example, KMIA and EDDF require 40-60% N2 just to get moving and to keep the speed around 15 kts. At EDDM, I only require 28-30% N2. Any suggestions how to keep this consistent and any ideas what's causing this?
Administrators iniBuilds Posted December 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2021 Are you using any custom scenery?

Administrators iniBuilds Posted December 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2021 Could you post a video, as I don't have that issue at my EDDF. Thanks
Moridin
Don't have a video. Same problem at freeware LOWW in the A300.
Moridin
OK so I found a solution. Slam on the brakes (CH Pro Pedals) and then it starts working. Some ideas: - I think sloped taxiways do something to the aircraft and it suddenly needs a lot of power to move. Tapping brakes fixes it. - Maybe there's something wrong with the autobrakes after landing, where they're engaged when they shouldn't be?
Administrators iniBuilds Posted December 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2021 It most usually is to do with hardware configs what I have found.

Just to clarify, I have never had this happen with the 744, 737, A321 or A346. Tapping the brakes seems to solve it. Same issue on A300 v2. Administrators iniBuilds Posted December 30, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 30, 2021 As I said could be the hardware you have mapped for our planes.
Moridin
Not sure what to look for. The configs are all correct… 😕
daan_vb
I noticed this as well at payware EGSS and EDDP…after reading this thread I’m thinking of adding a little bit of a dead zone to my toe brakes.
