Comparison with Real DA40NG

Featured Replies

I see a lot of differences between the real life DA40NG. Some that I noticed are below. I'm running x-plane 11 on macbook pro with thrustmaster 16000T joystick, rudder and throttle. I'm wondering if this a work in progress or the final product:

DA40NG engine: it is diesel but the performance does not like represent that. The MFD does not have EIS or AUX page
Engine Master switch, VOTER switch, ECB Test don't work with mouse ( I didn't find any options ). Perhaps I don't know how to use them
G1000 com switches ( com1,com2, nav1, nav2, etc ) don't work for me. I generally use mouse to enable them
G1000 MFD does not match with DA40NG. It has CHT ( which is only for Gas engine and not diesel ). In general G1000 MFD and does not have correct display.
No Annunciators  relevant to DA40NG appears on the screen
Alternate Air, Alternate Static don't work
Flaps light in not working,

Flaps can not be activated by mouse. I

What operating system are you using, and can you send your log? While engine performance, EIS & AUX pages, and CAS messages are all being actively worked on, some of the other issues sound like the systems plugin isn't working.

I'm running x-plane 11 on macos Bigsur v 11.6.1. I can send the log if needed. Where do you want me to send it to?

We are working on macOS support for the next update, if you want to help test that update you can join our discord and wait for the announcement.
