Hello everyone,

maybe somebody can help me – I've combed through a large number of threads but nothing helped...

Win 11, MSFS 2024, latest inibuilds A350, no extra liveries, WASM folder deleted several times, multiple fresh installs...

When I select a free flight, the aircraft loads and is placed on the tarmac, shown from different angles, and as soon as I hit "Ready to fly", it seems to freeze. The GSX guys still walk around for some time, the engine blades turn from the wind but I don't get the prompt to enter the aircraft and nothing else happens. The menu at the top (for camera, settings, etc.) doesn't show either. I can't look around or walk. The cursor doesn't show anymore unless I open the task manager.
That's similar when I place the aircraft on a runway: all screens show and go to cold and dark after a few seconds. I can't do anything with the mouse.

I've already waited more than half an hour as some threads suggested the loading time at the first load might be beyond 15 minutes.

Does anyone have an idea?

Hi Dennis,

Sorry to hear you're having issues with the a350. While users are correct, it can take up to 15 minutes to load (after fresh or new install), once you reach the stage you're reporting, that should not be an issue.

Can you think of any other plugin you're running that would be causing conflicts? There could possibly be a file in your community folder causing issues.

If you're willing, try renaming your old community folder to something like community1, launch the sim (it will create a new community folder), once at the menu, shut down the sim, place the a350 folder inside the newly created community folder, launch the sim.

thank you. That works.

Unfortunately, I have quite a lot of addons - there is no conflict between them without the A350.

At least, I have something to work on, but I'm not happy because the whole MSFS thing is centered around generating money through addons and somehow I think it's getting worse with every version (and I hardly have spare time to fly, so all the tweaking I have been doing the last twenty or so years, really sums up to quite a lot of lifetime)...

Thanks anyway. I will let you know if I find the responsible addon.

Hi Dennis,

I can recommend a tool called Addon Linker, which allows you to selectively load only the scenery required for the flight you plan to operate. This can also be an effective troubleshooting method, as it helps isolate the root cause by gradually re-enabling your add-ons until the issue reappears. Hope this helps.
