Introducing the KwikFlight Striker! - A modern tandem-seat attack helicopter designed for precision strikes, close air support, and dominance! Built from the ground up for engaging rotary-wing operations, the Striker delivers a blend of accessibility and realism, making it equally suited to newcomers and experienced helicopter pilots alike!

The Striker represents a newer generation of purpose-built attack helicopters developed to operate in complex combat environments. Designed around agility, survivability, and advanced sensor integration, aircraft of this class have played a critical role in modern military operations, providing rapid response firepower, armed escort, and close coordination with ground forces.

From low-level terrain masking to stationary hover engagements, the Striker is engineered to dominate both land and maritime battlefields, day or night. The Striker focuses on hands-on flying and mission execution, while remaining approachable for people just getting into rotorcraft operations within MSFS 2024 for the first time.

Flight Model & Handling
The foundation of the Striker is an accessible yet highly engaging flight model, carefully tuned to deliver recognisable helicopter behaviour without overwhelming you. The Striker features authentic performance characteristics, including native Vortex Ring State simulation, while maintaining smooth and predictable handling across hover, transition, and forward flight regimes.

It is equally comfortable performing precision low-speed manoeuvres as it is executing high-energy attack profiles. Supporting this is a native stability augmentation system, providing automatic flight control assistance and true hands-off hovering capability, significantly reducing pilot workload during demanding phases such as targeting, navigation, and mission management.

Avionics & Cockpit Systems
The Striker features fully interactive front and rear cockpits, allowing you to operate from either seat with shared, cross-functional controls. The cockpit is centred around four modern Multi-Function Displays (MFDs), presenting flight data, systems monitoring, navigation, and weapons management in a clear and intuitive layout.

A Dual Function Display (DFD) provides standby flight instrumentation and serves as a backup interface for data entry, ensuring continued usage in all scenarios. Interaction with these systems is handled via a dynamic keyboard unit, enabling direct and efficient control of both MFD and DFD functions. Together, the display suite is designed for clarity, usability, and rapid workflow during high-intensity operations.

The Striker also includes a detailed electrical simulation designed to support realistic startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures. Core systems such as the generator, APU, and GCU are fully modelled, alongside external power support and manual control of non-essential electrical buses. This approach delivers meaningful system interaction and depth while avoiding unnecessary complexity.

Mission Manager & Weapon Systems (iniManager Only)
To truly immerse you in this helicopter, the Striker provides intuitive combat functionality. The Mission Management System allows you to spawn dynamic land and sea scenarios, supported by Forward Arming and Refuelling Points, where the aircraft can be repaired, rearmed, and returned to the fight for extended operations. Alongside this is a comprehensive weapons system offering a variety of guns, rockets, and missiles, with automatic targeting and tracking assistance. Together, these systems significantly increase immersion while remaining entirely optional for those who prefer non-combat or free-flight experiences.

As with all of our other products, the Striker also includes a full selection of standard features designed to make it easy to pick up and get straight into the action. The attention to detail goes beyond flying the Striker, it begins with an interactive ground and preflight elements such as removable protective covers, rotor blade folding, and detailed gun inspection panels, adding an extra layer of realism to ground operations and pre-flight preparation.

Visually, the Striker is brought to life through a range of custom animations and effects. Both the main and tail rotor systems are fully animated, complete with detailed swash plate and blade articulation, while custom weapon deployment animations add to the overall feel. These are accompanied by dynamic visual effects that respond to the aircraft’s state and environment.

Trailer & Feature Showcase
To round out the introduction to the Striker, we’ve put together a couple of videos designed to showcase both the aircraft itself and the experience of flying it.

The trailer delivers a cinematic look at the Striker in an operational environment, showcasing its aggressive stance, low-level agility, and the intense look that it brings to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. From precision hovering and terrain-hugging to dynamic combat scenarios, the trailer shows off the character and capability of the aircraft in action.

As well as the trailer, the Feature Showcase video - coming soon, offers a more in-depth and informative walkthrough. This video will be out soon & guides you through operating the Striker, provides a brief overview of core systems and avionics, and demonstrates how to make the most of its mission and combat capabilities. It’s designed to help you quickly get comfortable with the aircraft and understand how its unique features come together in flight!
