The Equalizer Posted November 30 Posted November 30 When deploying the reversers upon landing, the aircraft always rolls to a complete stop if I disengage reverse thrust at around 70kts. I've even disengaged the reversers a lot earlier at between 90kts and 100kts and it still happens. Is this aircraft supposed to behave like that upon braking? Thanks
Farlis Posted November 30 Posted November 30 What do the reversers have to do with your autobrakes? They don't disengage just because you stop using the reverser. They disengange the moment you press the brake pedals. So take over at 40 knots and do manual braking from there.

I guess that's why I dared to ask a question, I suppose. I have the autobrakes set to 2 in most cases, deploy the reversers upon touchdown and disengage them at around 70kts. I never tap the brake pedals usually as I'm trying to prevent the aircraft from coming to a complete halt on the tarmac which is what usually happens, like I said. Tapping the brakes will only hasten this. Do you work for Inibuilds by any chance? Would you like me to rename the title of the post for you?
