Hi! You’re not alone — a lot of users are experiencing red screens and WASM errors with the A340 after recent updates. This seems to be related to how the simulator’s WASM environment handles the aircraft’s avionics, and the issue has shown up in several reports since recent updates. Many pilots see crashes, especially when spawning on a runway or interacting with certain FMC pages, even after deleting the WASM folder and reinstalling the addon.

A few points that might help while waiting for a proper fix:

Try spawning at a gate or ramp instead of the runway — some users report this avoids the immediate WASM crash.

Make sure you have the latest version of the A340 installed; patch releases often include small stability improvements.

If the crash happens repeatedly, clearing the WASM folder and restarting MSFS before a fresh flight can sometimes reset corrupted compiled modules.

The community and developers are aware of broader WASM instability with several aircraft, and sharing detailed flight logs and conditions can help the team reproduce and fix the problem faster. Hope that gives you a bit more context — hang in there!
