Engine Malfunction

Just started up the engines for the first time, and after a couple minutes I get  red warning saying engine malfunction and the engine shuts down, with N2 and N3 still running though. If I try again it malfunctions about 30 seconds in. Both engines. 

What could cause this?

Switch off the default damage model of the sim. It's not meant to work with most add-on aircraft.
