Friendy Posted Thursday at 10:19 AM Posted Thursday at 10:19 AM I recently purchased the A300-600 for my Xbox X from Market Place. This version supports Simbrief and appears to work correctly. However, if I start on an airport gate and prepare the aircraft flightplan fuel etc, after starting up the engines I am unable to move the aircraft. I believe I have carried out all processes correctly but no matter how much thrust is applied the aircraft will not taxi. if I reduce thrust the aircraft rolls backwards? If I start the flight from the runway, then everything is fine except there is only 11% fuel and changing settings to "unlimited fuel" does not work. Therefore I cannot fly this aircraft on any long flights.... Am I doing something wrong ? Or is this a bug on the Xbox? It was not a cheap purchase! Phil
Eddie Posted Thursday at 10:28 AM Posted Thursday at 10:28 AM Hello Phil, Please make sure there are no assistance options enabled via the default MSFS settings (such as auto mixture etc). Also double check if you have any conflicting bindings. The aircraft in itself should not be having these issues and usually one of the mentioned factors causes problems such as the ones you mention. Let me know if that helps! Thank you 🙂 EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
Friendy Posted Thursday at 02:30 PM Author Posted Thursday at 02:30 PM Hi Eddie Thanks for the response. I have removed all the assistance options and a few conflicts in the controls... The part I am not making sense of is if I place the aircraft to start on the runway, everything works fine. Its only when I start dark at a gate and get everything set up and engines running that I find after push back, when I take the parking brake off the plane reverses slowly... and max thrust only just about stops the reversing. To be honest I would be happy to start from the runway but the initial fuel load is 11% and setting "unlimited fuel" does not seem to work and I run out of fuel after approx 1 hour flight. Any other ideas? Phil
Friendy Posted Thursday at 05:02 PM Author Posted Thursday at 05:02 PM Hi Eddie, I think I have resolved the problem.... I wondered if the sim was still thinking it is still executing a push back even though the truck visually had disconnected and moved away. So I selected "stop" in the EFB push back control and it said pushback stopped.. And I can taxi !!! Phil
