With SU3, reduced textures - aircraft never loads ...

Featured Replies

Even during the SU3 beta phase I noticed that whenever I installed the A350 and then opted for the reduced textures package, trying to start a flight session after that results in a never ending "World" loading process 😕

Might it be due to problems with the JSON files? Should I use "MSFS Layout Generator" and drag and drop the "layout.json" into it?

Well, I was finally able to make it work by:

1) Uninstalling the compressed textures mod;

2) Starting a flight with the A359, normal uncompressed textures;

3) Using the Ini Manager install the compressed textures again - after having run the aircraft at least once after base install into the sim.

So, apparently, after base install with default textures we have to load the aircraft at least once into the sim in order for then being able to use the OPTIONS and opt for the reduced textures mod.

Its so frustrating, i hope there wil come a Update fix soon for the A350 series. Its totaly useless in VR.

I was exspecting they worked harder on this. Its a huge FPS kill it self and LOD issues ..
