Discord without phone number

Please make it possible to get access without providing a phone number on discord. I really don't like to provide my phone number.

Unfortunately this is a necessary measure to prevent spam-users from joining the community. The phone number provided is an extra security measure only Discord has access to and nothing we're able to view. This won't change as the return would be thousands of bot accounts that join daily to spread malicious content/cause issues.
