LewF Posted July 24 Posted July 24 (edited) Does the A350 indicate on the Center Upper Display Panel when the Landing Lights are on. This is the case on all the A32x models I fly, and it is a handy reminder to turn them off when you get busy with other cockpit duties. If not present in the RL A350, so be it, not asking for something unrealistic. Thanks for your work on this great and steadily improving aircraft. Edited July 24 by LewF
Xenon341 Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Hello, Can you report which version of the plane you are using ? In the EFB, go to the option menu then in the lower left on the screen. This has been fixed like month ago so pretty odd to me.
LewF Posted July 25 Author Posted July 25 (edited) It shows Current Version: 1.1.2c It is the MSFS 2020 version. Edited July 25 by LewF
Xenon341 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 I just started a flight and can't reproduce your problem. LDG Lights on as per screenshot. Maybe try to clean your WASM folder but if that persist, can you provide a screenshot please ?
LewF Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 Interesting, your screen looks just like mine and does not indicate that the landing lights are on (but the landing light switch is on), on the upper middle display panel. I see it indicates the seat belts are on but I am used to seeing, on other Airbus aircraft, a line to the left of the "seat belts" indication an indication that the "landing lights" are on, if they are. Also I don't know how to clear the WASM folder for this aircraft in MSFS 2020, is that applicable, I only fly MF2020, MS2024 is much too unstable for my taste. Thank you for looking into this and helping.
Xenon341 Posted July 26 Posted July 26 (edited) Alright I just read again your post and I misunderstood 😄 It normal that the LDG LT indication is absent, as it is there on A320 because they are poping lights that induce drag. It's not the case on A350 so no message needed 🙂 Edited July 26 by Xenon341
LewF Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 Thanks for clearing that up. It makes sense for the A320 since the landing lights are "deployed" when on and induce added drag. I such a minor nag on an aircraft that is working well for me at this point. I very much appreciate your assistance on this, thanks again. 1
