BetrWingmodels Posted Wednesday at 11:11 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:11 AM (edited) I really hope Inibuilds do not ruin the wings of yet another airliner, especially when charging the same as other devs who get it 1:1, perfectly. With the upcoming A340, both the A330 and A340 family, as well as the A380 has an extreme "wing-twist" aka "washout" that, when viewing the aircrafts head-on, and slightly elevated over the top of the fuselage (like when we sit waiting to board a flight), you can see the wing section between the two closest engines to the fuselage, has a slope with an extreme angle, while as you follow the wings towards the wing-tips, the wing cross-section becomes levelled. The A350's wings are less pronounced. Please Inibuilds, please get it 1:1 just like Fenix, PMDG, FBW and Aerosoft has with their respective planes. PLEASE!!!! "The Airbus A340 wing incorporates twist, primarily to manage lift distribution and reduce stress on the wing during flight. This twist, also known as washout, is a change in the angle of attack along the wing's span, with the wing root typically having a higher angle of attack than the wing tip. " LVFR missed the mark completely as the entire wing from root to tip is angled, when the tip should be levelled while the root is highly angled. Surely the wing's characteristics isn't impossible to get 1:1, perfect. Wings are the most important aspect of flight/aviation. Put some respect on the wings🤣. Even Aerosoft got it right on their A330. To the Inibuilds team and the members responsible for producing these fantasy, fake, inaccurate wing shapes, I am not trying to be rude or belittle. I am frustrated because this issue has now spanned across FOUR of your products which you charge the same as PMDG's and Fenix's accurately, modelled aircrafts. Your systems and flight dynamics are close to the real planes (aside from the A350 getting airborne at MTOW at 4-5 degrees of pitch when the real plane needs 7 degrees). Please, you cannot see the underside of the wings of the A340 because it is almost straight. Please do not slope it downwards like you did the A300. Eddie Posted Wednesday at 01:06 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:06 PM Hello, For the A350, we are already discussing internally how to go about refining it to better fit its real-life counterpart. I understand this is frustrating but are committed on bettering this aircraft as well as any other future project before it is released. 🙂 1 EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
Atul Posted Thursday at 08:29 AM Posted Thursday at 08:29 AM Hello Eddie, I think this has already been discussed numerous times but simply wanted to drop in my vote as well, especially for the flight deck too and considering that majority of the time being spent there. It'd be lovely if we could get the windshield proportion correct as it feels larger right now (even larger since the latest HUD model update). I'm not a developer but I believe correcting that would be a huge undertaking in terms of modeling and animation of overhead switches, knobs, etc. and the click spots. So, I fully understand that but hope that at some point in future, this gets updated too. Cheers.
