A350 update 1.1

the A350 update fails to install for msfs2020  when the flightsimulator community folder is on another drive installed

path is too large

install of flightsimulator done via xbox app not on cdrive

workarround

Delete the plane

 

redownload the plane, when it gets stuck unzippen via inimanager

go in the appdata folder: C:\Users\matth\AppData\Local\iniManager\app-2.4.5\resources\app\temp

find the temp file "1192-full", unzip it there

copy entire file via powershell to commun,ity folder

 

let inimanager install again and the plane becomes installed again with update 1.1

I'm using MSFS 2024 and I'm having the same problem as you. I followed your procedure, but the temp file isn't showing up in the designated folder. 😶

I was able to install the previous version, you just have to go to the APP 2.4.4 file and follow the same procedure, this installs the previous version, I think it's a general bug, you have to wait for inibuilds to fix it

Here’s exactly what I did:

1. Uninstalled the A350.

2. Reinstalled the A350.

3. When it got stuck, I went to the folder:
   C:\Users\matth\AppData\Local\iniManager\app-2.4.5\resources\app\temp

4. Copied the file "1192-full" to the root of C:\ and extracted it there. This avoids the long path error.

5. Moved the extracted folder back to:
   C:\Users\matth\AppData\Local\iniManager\app-2.4.5\resources\app\temp

6. Aborted the installation on iniManager.

7. Closed and relaunched the iniManager.

8. Tried installing again — this time it worked.

I was able to install the plane, but it is broken, all tree models. Freezed, nothing is working!!!

The same thing happened to me and I had to reinstall the entire simulator and I no longer had problems.😥
