Hi,

I’ve been enjoying cargo ops in MSFS20, yet in MSFS24 I’m stuck with two options :

- Fly the A300 with TAA and pretty bad FPS

- Fly the A300 with DLSS and extreme ghosting on every needles and displays (and not that much of an improvement in terms of framerate)

 

To be honest, this aircraft is my worst performing one. To mention for example the notoriously hungry Fenix, I have no issues at all flying it, even with my 3 1440p screens rendering 3 windows.

 

I can’t manage to enjoy my A300 with low frame rates… I’ve tried with lights off and on, clearing WASM folder, uninstalling other addons, flying on generic terrains instead of paid sceneries… 

 

How can I get good FPS in the A300 premium ? Is there a low resolution texture pack like in 2020 ?

 

Please help. I want to enjoy the beast again.

I have a I7-12700K, 64Gigs of DDR4 RAM, and a 3080Ti, MSFS24 runs optimized in every other aircrafts (solid FPS in the PMDG DC-6, FENIX A320 with cabin rendered, paid LFBO scenery… ). 

The issue of poor performance in the Cargo variants has unfortunately been known for some time.
Unfortunately, there has been no comment from IniBuilds yet or any information that they're working on it (apart from the standard responses, such as deleting the community folder, sending screenshots, etc.).
It's really sad, and we're talking about a "premium" variant here.

Yeah its very sad.

Oh yeah wow, i just noticed there is like a 70% fps increase in the passenger version vs the cargo. Jesus. Please fix this asap so we can fly rubber dogshit again. ❤️  The A340 is performing the best so far for me. Still not fenix levels ofc but improvement from the A350 for sure. The A300 is the worst performing by far.

Yep, 100% agree. The performance diff between the passenger and freighter versions is night and day. I guess it is either hard to fix or just being ignored by the developers. Not seen any comments anywhere on this from them. A bit sad really as it is such a great aircraft.

Please INI can you look into this and get some resolution for your supporters.
